Day Three

At 5 AM when I decided to stop driving, Pat and I decided to take a rest at a rest stop in Florida. Skyler and Tom woke up while we were at the rest stop and demanded to know why we were not moving. We told them we were tired and needed a rest. They violently erupted and said they would have none of that. They said they were not going to miss breakfast at Tom’s house. Patrick and I moved to the back seat, and Skyler and Tom to the front. Skyler drove the last 3.5 hours to get to Naples. Pat and I slept for that time to get some much needed rest.

When we arrived at Tom’s house in Naples, we met Tom’s Mom and Dad. They were very friendly and welcoming. We brought our stuff into the house and got semi-settled while Tom’s Dad prepared breakfast. When breakfast was ready, we ate in the dining room with Mr. Hornyak. After breakfast, we chilled for a while in our room and watched TV and got our things situated. After a while we decided to go down to the beach. Tom drove us about 5 minutes to Seagate Beach. It was not crowded and we our pick of the beach. We all sat in the sun and worked on our tans. We also went into ocean and swam and played with the football. I was the only one with any major burns. My legs and feet were pretty red. We were there for a few hours and then came back to Tom’s house. We decided to rest and watch some TV. All of us passed out from being in the sun all day and from lack of sleep from the night before. When we awoke from our nap, we decided it as too late to go out and do anything so we stayed in for the night. Tom’s Mom made us spaghetti for dinner. It was delicious. We also sat and talked with Tom’s Dad about Florida and what there was to do around Naples. We went to bed after watching some TV. Here ends day three.
